The obese people should eat the following 5 foods:

  • Oatmeal. They are a great option for healthy people not only for diabetics and obese. Oatmeal is a key food for people with diabetes and obese.  These are super-foods with a low hypoglycemic index, which means it does not raise insulin levels too much. In the long run, you lowers blood pressure, helps control your weight and reduce the need for insulin.
  • Fish.  Consumption of fatty fish (salmon, herring, sardines, tuna) reduces the risk of heart disease, diabetes, depression and stroke.  And if you already have diabetes, Omega 3 fatty acids improves your insulin sensitivity, which means that you'll gain less. Another beneficial effect of fish consumption is that Omega 3 fatty acids prevent blood clots, a major problem with diabetes.
  • Beans. They are a rich source of dietary fiber. In order to maintain your weight you must balance the calories you intake through eating everyday with the calories that you burn during your daily activities. They give you a feeling of fullness and help you to  maintain blood sugar levels within the normal range, not just after eating, but throughout the day.
  •  Olive oil. Itl is derived from the olive fruit and is a type of monounsaturated fat.  This contains healthy fats that help you to maintain heart health and to prevent inflammation associated with disease. Nutritionists recommend us to use it in salads instead of normal oil. It can be used in place of butter and can be eaten  with  bread.
  • Cinnamon.  It is a spice obtained from the inner bark of several trees from the genus Cinnamonum. This tasty spice can be used in both sweet (such as, mixed in apple pies) and savoury foods. It can help you to prevent diabetes, obesity, and many other life-threatening diseases!
