Benefits of weight loss for obese

Recent studies have shown that weight loss has positive effects on health of the body:
  • Improved health for complications arising from obesity, particularly type II diabetes;
  • A weight loss of at least 2 kg is beneficial in lowering high blood pressure;
  • Patients who have reduced weight by 14.2 pounds in one year and suffer from asthma have improved pulmonary function, and the number of exacerbations (episodes of severe asthma) and oral glucocorticizi needs have decreased significantly;
  • Was observed that patients with sleep apnea syndrome have improved sleep and daytime sleepiness have not presented if they managed to lose weight by 10%;
  • Weight loss prevents type II diabetes;
